The group presented William Shakespeare's last play, "The Tempest," in fun and lively fashion. Following Shakespeare to Go tradition, each actor took on multiple roles, swapped wardrobes on stage, and added to the multifaceted whirlwind of the show's drama. At the end of the play, actors held a Q&A with CCA students and faculty. It was truly a wonderful experience.
(From Shakespeare to Go's front page): What is Shakespeare to Go? Each year, a UCSC Theater Arts faculty member creates a 50-minute adaptation of a Shakespeare play, and assembles a cast comprised of UCSC students. The play is adapted and directed by UCSC Theater Arts faculty member Patty Gallagher. For more information about this amazing experience, please visit Shakespeare to Go's website here.
Below are several clips of the Shakespeare to Go team's presentation. CCA wants to thank them once again for their amazing performance. We hope to see them next year!
