CCA started off the year right with a jungle-themed Back to School dance. Organized by the CCA Leadership students, the dance was held in Yerba Buena’s new student union--an all-inclusive, next gen. building designed to meet the many needs of our students, families, and staff.
Like most dances, students were hesitant to bust the first move, but DJ Kenny, a former CCA student, helped break the ice by bumpin’ all the greatest (and school appropriate) hits 2018 had to offer. By the end of the dance, students were laughing, having fun, and growing closer together--key ingredients for a happy and healthy start to a new school year.
If you missed the first dance, don’t fret! CCA Leadership students are planning the next school dance for October 26th. They’re calling it the “Harvest Hoedown,” so find some flannels, don a straw hat, and learn to square dance, because it’s sure to be a good time.
Question: What kind of vest should you wear to the next school dance?
Answer: A har-vest!
See you there!
