Joanne has a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Bachelor of Science in Economics, and a minor in Mathematics from UC Berkeley received in 1983.  In 1985 she received her California Teaching Credentials in Social Science and Mathematics from CSU, Long Beach.  After living and teaching overseas in South America and the Middle East, Joanne returned to get her Masters in Economics also from Long Beach State.  She has taught both Social Science and Math in California, Venezuela, Qatar, and Colombia since 1986.  Joanne is presently teaching eighth grade United States History, seventh grade World History, and Leadership at CCA.
