Students requiring Math Intervention are placed with 7th and 8th grade Math teachers who host Math Intervention during their Common period.  Teachers use the Core Connections Course 2 text book from CPM (College Preparatory Math).  Teachers take questions from the assessment section (available to teachers) and solve the questions with the class.   

 Similarly, students requiring English Intervention work with English teachers during their Common period to improve reading comprehension and writing skills.  Students often work on specific material, but may also use the Reading Plus program to improve reading skills.
